bio.re complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) in the United States and equivalent laws in other jurisdictions (EU Copyright Directive, UK CDPA, etc.).
If you believe content on bio.re infringes your copyright, you can submit a takedown notice. We act quickly on valid notices.
Filing a Takedown Notice
To file a DMCA takedown, send a notice to our copyright agent containing all the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner (or authorized agent)
- Description of the copyrighted work being infringed
- URL(s) of the infringing content on bio.re (e.g.,
bio.re/username/link) - Your contact info (name, address, phone, email)
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the above is accurate and you are the owner or authorized agent

Counter-Notices
If you believe content was removed by mistake, you can file a counter-notice. It must include:
- Your signature
- Identification of the removed content and its URL
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe removal was a mistake or misidentification
- Your name, address, phone number
- Consent to jurisdiction of federal court in your district
We forward counter-notices to the original complainant. If they don't sue within 10 business days, we restore the content.
Repeat Infringers
We terminate accounts of repeat infringers in accordance with DMCA Β§512(i). Three valid takedowns = permanent account termination. See our Terms.
